The Nuclear Waste Management Organization is beginning the process to identify a site for Canada’s second deep geological repository (DGR) for the safe, long-term storage of intermediate - and high-level nuclear waste. Over the next two years, we’ll be engaging with Indigenous communities, municipalities, industry and other stakeholders to shape the site selection process. Join us at this Engagement Workshop to learn more about Canada’s second DGR and share your feedback.
